Betty M. Miller, age 88, Logansport, passed away at 7:27 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born November 11, 1926, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Harry E. and May Maggart Bowles.
She was married to Charles R. Miller, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1975.
Betty had been a bookkeeper for United Technologies and Logan Stamping.
She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a member of the Logansport Elkettes. Betty enjoyed playing golf and had played with the Dykeman Women’s League for many years. She was also a past Precinct Committee Chair for the Cass County Democratic Party.
Betty was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Ladies Society.
Surviving are daughters, Irenda (Jeff) Jones, Kokomo, Teresa (Kevin) Umbarger, New Castle, Marta (Bobby) Kingery, Chicago; sons, Paul (Bobbi) Elmore, Tehachapi, Calif., and Mark (Janis) Miller, Winamac; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday April 25, 2015, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, also at the funeral home. Father Dominic Petan will officiate.
Full burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
