Leonard Luther “Sonny” Sigler, Jr. of Logansport, died at his residence at 9:00 am Thursday, April 23, 2015.
He was born in Montgomery, West Virginia to Leonard and Rosa (Taylor) Sigler Sr. After the death of Rosa, Sonny’s father married Dixie, whom Sonny referred to as Mom.
He had worked as a coal miner, prison guard, and construction.
A member of the Bible Baptist Church, Sonny enjoyed playing country, gospel, and classic rock music with his friends.
Surviving are two sons: Brian, of Georgia and Adam of Florida; one daughter, Andrea Hoskins, of Florida; three brothers: Randy and Walt of West Virginia, and Jim of South Carolina; three sisters: Constance Nagy of Michigan, Patty Duncan of Kentucky, and Linda Sigler of West Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother.
