The Logansport High School Speech Team earned 4th place at the Sectional Tournament held at Westfield on Saturday, February 27.
Individual honors went to the following team members:
Discussion Semi-finalists: Jon Raderstorf, Kenna Achey, Brayden Riley and Matthew Calisto
Impromptu: 2nd alternate, Ashley Fauble
Original Performance: 2nd alternate, duo partners Isabelle Kraud and Jeremy Gross
Humorous: 2nd alternate, Cassia Scagnoli; 1st Alternate, Alex Starkey
Radio: Ryan Lythgoe, 1st alternate; TJ Caroway, 3rd place and advancing to State
Original Oratory: Jeremy Gross, 2nd alternate; Lorie Flanagan, 1st alternate, and Jake Hoover, Champion
State competitors TJ Caroway and Jake Hoover will compete at Fishers High School on March 12.
The Team is coached by Jessica Kranz, Michelle Dials, Joyce Pasel, and Chris McCloskey.
