Melba had also held several offices at the church, Melba was a “people person” who enjoyed a good game of cards. She belonged to several card clubs – some for over 40 years. Melba was well-suited to be the matriarch of  her close-knit family, for she loved unconditionally and in return, she was loved beyond measure.
