Dorothy A. Kerschner, age 78, Logansport, passed away at 5:18 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in her residence.
Born August 4, 1940, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Paul and Velma Zimmerman Hess.
She was married to Charles Kerschner, who preceded her in death in 1972.
Richard Tyler was a long-time companion who also preceded her in death.
A homemaker, Dorothy enjoyed yard sales and shopping. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Jim Kerschner, Kentucky, Vickie Coldiron, Garrett, IN, Julie Kerschner, Logansport, Kendall Kerschner, Peru, Kenny Kerschner, Logansport, and Karla Reeser, Fort Wayne; sisters, Barb Alder, Fern Curtis and Shirley Coon; brother, Paul Hess; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were three children, Keith Kerschner, Deborah Moore and Bill Kerschner; three great grandchildren, Auden Myers, Scotty Moore and Therann Moore; two brothers, Keith Hess and Pat Hess.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7th, in the chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday following visitation, with Kelly Spencer officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kroeger Funeral Home.
