CCCF announces 23rd year of “Give Your Heart to the Community” serenades
The Cass County Community Foundation announces its 2019 “Give Your Heart to the Community” Campaign. CCCF President Deanna Crispen shared “We are very excited to once again offer our annual Valentines serenades. This signature fundraising event is now in its 23rd year and brings a smile to the faces of both young and old.”
For a $100 contribution, CCCF Valentine singers will deliver a live serenade to your loved one. Imagine the look on their faces when our merry band of troubadours arrives at their home or workplace and sings an unforgettable song just for them! Live serenades are perfect for spouses, friends and co-workers, employees and bosses, nursing home residents and shut-ins.
Serenades will be delivered on Thursday, February 14th this year. CCCF guitarist Mike McCord has sang and accompanied the volunteer singers since the beginning and will be joined by his son, Jake, who also plays guitar. Anyone wishing to sing with the volunteers should call the CCCF office as soon as possible for instructions. Singers can participate the entire day or a portion of the day. Lunch is provided by Pizza Hut for all singers.
Orders for serenades must be received by Thursday, February 7. Call the Cass County Community Foundation at 574-722-2200 for more information. Place your order today, and give your heart to the community!
