Contractors sought for ReVere homes

Last Updated on March 19, 2019 by cassnetwork

Construction and subcontracting firms from Logansport and surrounding Cass County are asked to contact the developer for a city initiative.

In an effort to magnify the local impact of the ReVere Homes project, the City of Logansport is asking local contractors to contact Crestline via e-mail at ecrouch@thinkcrestline.com. Crestline, the firm chosen for the ReVere Homes project, previously renovated the former McKinley Elementary School for re-use as an apartment building for local residents 55 and older.

“We’d prefer to keep as many dollars in the community with this project as we can,” Mayor Dave Kitchell said Monday. “It’s a busy time of the year for construction, and we want to ensure that our contractors and subcontractors are busy and benefiting from this project.”

ReVere Homes is a project funded through the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. City-owned properties are used as a local match for the project which will add 30 single-family homes in the community.
