Cynthia Lynn Riley Winegardner, age 56, Walton, passed away at 2:24 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Born March 6, 1963 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Coy and Mary Ann Hicks Riley.

She was married to Fred Winegardner, who survives.

Cindy had been employed at Gen Corp and the State Hospital. Mostly she enjoyed volunteering to help the needy and less fortunate.

She enjoyed horses, riding her Harley and going on road trips, her dogs, yard work, cooking and baking.

Anyone who ever met Cindy loved her. She had that kind of personality.

Cindy based her life on her faith. She was a member of the McNeely Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are siblings, John “Luke” Riley (Jan, Cindy), Royal Center, Nancy Brugh, Logansport, Viola Johnson (David), Rossville, Sam Riley (Sue Ann), Royal Center, Bernie Riley (Marianne), Kokomo and Theresa Long (Greg), Pooler, Georgia; step-daughters, Valerie Brown, Walton and Jeannie Eurit (Wes) Logansport; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive.

Cindy’s parents, and two brothers, Mark Riley and Will Riley, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service and a Celebration of Cindy’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24th, also at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Pastor Donald McDowell officiating.

Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
