“Girl Scouts Love State Parks” initiative takes place July 13 and 14, 2019

Last Updated on July 11, 2019 by cassnetwork

Come celebrate your love of the great outdoors and join Girl Scouts across the nation at state parks from coast to coast July 13 and 14. “Girl Scouts Love State Parks” is your chance to discover some of the unique offerings at our beautiful state parks in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana (GSNI-M) invites girls, their families and friends to check out what’s happening just for Girl Scouts at seven parks located throughout our council. Choose from Pokagon, Chain O’ Lakes, Potato Creek, Indiana Dunes, Salamonie Lake and Oubache, in Indiana, and Warren Dunes in Michigan.

The fee for each person visiting a park is $5. A Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch is available for purchase through the Council Store.

At Indiana parks, participants will pay $7 per vehicle with Indiana plates and $9 per vehicle with out-of-state plates. At Warren Dunes, vehicles will need a Michigan state Recreation Passport ($16 at the park, if not obtained previously when renewing your plates). An out-of-state one-day pass is available at Warren Dunes for $9.
