Frances Cira, 88, of Logansport passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at her residence.
Born on October 4, 1931 in Grayville, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Velma (Collins) Hutchcraft.
On December 26, 1954 she married Cosimo Cira. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2019.
She was a former assistant manager at Walden Books and she retired in 1993. Frances enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her family. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, James (Duanna) Cira of Logansport and Karen (William) Aldridge of South Carolina, grandchildren, Derek (Brittney) Aldridge, Evan (Samantha) Aldridge, Cameron Aldridge, Emilia Aldridge and Corbin Aldridge, great grandchildren, Lena, Christine and Benjamin Aldridge, sisters, Jane Casey of South Carolina and Joan Irion of Elkhart, brother in law, George Fugate of Winamac and sister in law, Roseanne Cira of Logansport.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Phyllis Fugate.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Jeff Martin officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
