Voting hours, locations and candidates for 2019 Municipal Election in Logansport, Galveston and Royal Center, Indiana

In Cass County, Indiana, the Nov. 5, 2019 election is a municipal election for Galveston, Logansport and Royal Center residents only. If you have questions, visit indianavoters.com or call the Cass County Clerk’s Office at 574-753-7870.

WHEN AND WHERE YOU CAN VOTE:

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, but voting begins Oct. 21.

The Cass County Government Building (Courthouse) on Fourth Street will be open for early voting on the following days:

  • Monday, Oct. 21 – Friday, Nov. 1 (Monday through Friday) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Monday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Vote centers will be open Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Logansport Community School Corporation Administration Building, 2829 George St., Logansport
  • Cass County Senior Center, 115 S. 6th St., Logansport.

Vote centers will be open Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Logansport Community School Corporation Administration Building, 2829 George St., Logansport
  • Cass County Senior Center, 115 S. 6th St. Logansport,
  • Royal Center Town Hall
  • Galveston Community Center

WHAT IF I CAN’T VOTE ON ELECTION DAY? Registered Logansport, Royal Center or Galveston voters can vote early at the Cass County Government Building, beginning October 21 or at a Vote Center (Logansport Community School Corporation Administration Building, 2829 George St., or Cass County Senior Center, 115 S. 6th St.) on Saturday, Nov. 2.

You can request an absentee ballot by mail from the Cass County Clerk’s Office but applications must be received by Oct. 24.

If you are confined due to illness or injury or caring for a confined person at a private residence on Election Day, you can request an absentee ballot by travel board. Applications must be received by the Cass County Clerk’s Office by noon on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.
