Cynthia C. Beck, 78, Logansport, passed away at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019, in Chase Center.

Born May 18, 1941, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Moyer and Melba L. (Dunsizer) Moyer Geyer.

On August 2, 1956, in Logansport, she was married to Ronald L. Beck, who preceded her in death October 26, 1998. The couple had founded Beck’s Transfer – a moving service – which they operated for over twenty years.

Cindy had a strong faith in God that saw her through many trials though out her life. She had attended the Methodist Church and the Vineyard Community Church of Logansport.

Cindy and Ron had enjoyed many adventures while houseboating, traveling in their RV, and motorcycling. Cindy’s happiest memories were shared with her close-knit family. She loved her family so very much. Cindy was blessed with the gift of hospitality and she used her excellent cooking skills to host many family dinners.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Greg Hermance, and Debora and David Holmes, all of Logansport, one sister and brother-in-law, Jane Armick-Martin & Dick Martin; Logansport; two half-siblings, Jeanne Baker, Royal Center, and Tom (Mary Lou) Moyer, Burnettsville; four grandchildren: Jessica (Chris) Spradling, Alex Holmes, Adrienne (Chris) Gearhart, and Collin (Anna) Holmes; six great-grandchildren,: Ashton Gearhart, Rylinn Spradling, Katelynn Spradling, Ainsley Gearhart, Kennedy Homes, and Lincoln Holmes; several nieces and nephews and their extended families, including David (Jody) Armick, Dana Armick, and Candace Calloway.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Calloway. A Funeral Service celebrating Cynthia’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday in the funeral chapel.
