Norma Joan (Moore) Coffin

Norma J. Coffin, 87, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born on December 31, 1932 in Terre Haute, Indiana, she is the daughter to the late James C. Moore Sr. and Sylvia (Neal) Moore.

On March 25, 1951 in Terre Haute, IN, she married Jack L. Coffin who survives.

Norma has been the office secretary and manager for the radiology department at Memorial Hospital and also the office of Dr. Charles Montgomery. She also worked as an associate court reporter for the Cass Superior Court.  She was a member of the Logansport Church of the Brethren where she also served on the board. She was also a member and long-time secretary for Elk’s Lodge #66 and Fidelity Chapter #58 Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving along with her husband Jack are two daughters, Deborah L. Roller, Logansport; Patricia Ann Johnson, Logansport; three sons, John Richard (Sue) Coffin, Logansport; David Alan (Melissa) Coffin, Kalamazoo, MI; Todd Lee (Rhonda) Coffin, Valparaiso, IN; five granddaughters, Melissa (James) Sturdivant, Kristina L. Stetz and fiancée Brad Fearnow; Emily Jo Coffin; Katherine (Garrett) Phillipy; Brittany Coffin; grandson, Kevin (Carmen) Coffin; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, 3 sisters, 1 brother and two son in laws, Mike Roller and Ed Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Mike Montgomery officiating.

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
