ORIGINAL TEXT OF EXECUTIVE ORDER: “4. I hereby order that customers are limited to one (1) person per family while shopping at Essential Retail Establishments in the City of Logansport. Each person entering such establishment should wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.”
Due to the misunderstanding regarding the stipulations regarding the mask, we would like to clarify that the language states “should” , not “must”. This means masks SHOULD be worn, but are not mandatory at this time, per the executive order.”

In the interest of the public health and safety, all residents and Essential Retail Establishments in the City of Logansport shall follow the directives in this Executive Order.
The Mayor of the City of Logansport hereby orders the following:This Emergency Executive Order shall be effective at Noon, EST on Monday, April 27, 2020.
Customers are limited to one (1) person per family while shopping at Essential Retail Establishments in the City of Logansport.
Each person entering such establishment should wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.
Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed into Essential Retail Establishments.
All Essential Retail Establishments in the City of Logansport shall limit the number of customers in their establishment at one time.
Allow no more than 2 customers per 1,000 square feet of retail space.
If more than 62,000 square feet of retail space, allowance is capped at 125 customers at one time.
If 2,000 square feet of retail space or less, you may allow up to five (5) customers at one time.
Essential Retail Establishments shall actively monitor and enforce these limits.
All previous orders shall continue to be in effect through this order including the restrictions on restaurants limited to drive-thru, curb-side, and delivery services.
A person who knowingly, intentionally, or recklessly violates this executive order commits a Class B misdemeanor under Indiana Code.
All individuals in high-risk populations including the elderly and those with chronic medical conditions are strongly encouraged to avoid all public gatherings and to minimize all travel to the maximum extent possible.
This order is necessary to end this threat to the City as quickly as possible.
This Executive order shall continue until further notice.

En beneficio de la seguridad y la salud pública, todos los residentes y los establecimientos de negocios esenciales en la ciudad de Logansport deben seguir las recomendaciones de la orden ejecutiva.
El alcalde de la ciudad de Logansport por la presente ordena lo siguiente:
1. Esta Orden ejecutiva de emergencia entrará en vigencia a mediodía, hora del este, del lunes 27 de abril de 2020.
2. Los clientes están limitados a una (1) persona por familia mientras hagan compras en negocios esenciales en la ciudad de Logansport.
3. Cada persona que entre a dicho negocio debe usar una máscara que cubra su nariz y boca.
4. Menores de 16 años no se les permitirá la entrada a los negocios esenciales.
5. Todos los negocios esenciales en la ciudad de Logansport deben limitar el número de clientes al momento de entrada.
- No permita más de 2 clientes por cada 1,000 pies cuadrados de espacio comercial.
