Solar System Ambassador Pam Roller and her Astro-Pup Patches don’t want you to miss this exciting OPPORTUNITY!
U. S. astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will be launched on the SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo 2 on a Falcon 9 Rocket this Wednesday, May 27th at 4:33 p.m.
Members of the public are invited to participate virtually in the mission by visiting www.nasa.gov and then clicking on Launch America Be Our Guest.
Follow the steps to register. The steps are easy!
Next, you will get to experience what it is like to be an astronaut yourself.
Like the crew, you’ll want to get yourself prepped for the mission:
Click on the links for:
- Touring the launch pad
- Climbing into a mock-up of the Crew Dragon capsule
- Immersing yourself in astronaut training
- Having a mission briefing
- Practicing the docking of the Crew Dragon capsule to the International Space Station
- Printing out the mission patch
You will want to do this before May 27th.
