We are excited to open our doors again Tuesday, June 2nd  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We look forward to serving you, but you will notice some changes as is stated in the following summary of some of our precautions. We are having limited activities this month as noted in our June Newsletter, Facebook and other emails.

Our square ft. in our building is approximately 10,000 sq. ft.
For us that is 75 people in the library at one time which allows for a little wiggle room for staff. We are not removing seating. We have no place to store it.

We have blocked off our computers so that there is 6’ between them. This means for us, 2 out of the 4 computers at each table will be available.

We are asking computer users to bring their own “assistant” because we are unable to provide tutoring or assistance because of the social distancing rule.

We will have a staff member monitoring the computers. We are using Press n’ Seal on the keyboards and the mouse will be in a plastic baggie which is both thrown away when the patron departs. When someone leaves, the staff member will spray the chair and table with disinfecting spray in preparation for the next patron.

We are still offering curbside service for those who are not comfortable coming into the library at this time. We are not putting in directional signage for the stacks. We ask patrons to be respectful and kind. We have 6’ markers at the check-out stations. Masks are encouraged to be worn by staff (when they are not in their office) and patrons. We are encouraging social distancing. We are encouraging personal responsibility to keep our staff and patrons safe. We Are IN This Together#
