Republic Services has resumed bulk waste pickup in Logansport effective May 18, 2020.
Republic is asking folks to please be patient as they start this process back up again.
All mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic and a $1 sticker placed on each item.
$1 stickers are available for purchase at Martin’s, D&R, McCord’s Do-it-Best, and Schwering Realty.
Mattresses and box springs are not picked up by the Street Department.
For electronics disposal, you may contact the Cass County Recycling Program at 574-732-9253 for an appointment to drop those items off. www.recyclecasscounty.org
For bigger junk removal jobs you can rent a dumpster, fill it up on your schedule, and they will come haul it away when you’re ready.
Republic Services will pick up your furniture items. Each item must have a $1 sticker and you should call Republic Services at 1-800-989-2539 to let them know you have large items for pick up.
You may also take your furniture to the landfill (a fee is charged) or rent the City’s Litter Critter trailer for $112 per load which is delivered to and picked up at your residence by the Street Department. (The Street Department can be reached at (574) 753-4610.)
