LOGANSPORT, Ind. — Start here. Stay here. Complete here. Right here in Logansport!

That’s the message of a new partnership between Ivy Tech and Indiana Tech that opens the door to completing a bachelor’s degree without leaving the Logansport area.

Representatives of the two schools will be together to offer virtual information sessions about this opportunity July 8. Sessions are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and details, including how to register the live Zoom meetings, can be obtained by contacting Jovita Flores, Ivy Tech assistant director of admissions at 574-398-6097 or jflores26@ivytech.edu .

Under the agreement between Ivy Tech and the Fort Wayne-based Indiana Tech, students who complete an associate degree in Business Administration at Ivy Tech can move right into a program to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Ivy Tech’s Logansport facility.

“In this program, students can choose one of six areas of concentration, including Business Communication, Entrepreneurial Studies, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Management, and Marketing,” Flores said. “It’s a great alternative to ‘going away’ to attend college or complete a bachelor’s degree.”

Flores added, “Wherever a person is on their educational journey – high school or Ivy Tech … student or graduate, there are options that can make the next steps in that journey less expensive and lots easier.”

The virtual information sessions will include discussions of General Education Transfer Certificate completion while in high school, admissions to Ivy Tech, and transfer to Indiana Tech. Indiana Tech admissions staff members will discuss the benefits of being an Ivy Tech student and transferring to Indiana Tech.
