Carolyn J. Holcomb, 77, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020.
Born on March 29, 1943 in Logansport, she is the daughter to John J. and Bettie (McPherson) Savini. On September 23, 1976 in Logansport, she married George W. “Tim” Holcomb who survives.
Carolyn retired as a teacher’s aide at Columbia Elementary School. She had also worked for the Logansport Parks Department and at the Tower Park Pool. Carolyn was a member of New Life Alliance Church and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Surviving along with her husband Tim, are five children, Terry (Terri) Holcomb of Galveston; Sherry (Jess) Huggins of Solsberry, IN; Teri (Randal) Larimore of Flora; Cynthia (Bradley) Frantz of Noblesville; Brad (Pam) Howard of Noblesville; mother, Bettie Savini of Logansport; two sisters, Pam (Rob) Altice of Temecula, CA; Kathy (John) Scott of Logansport; brother, John J. (Carol) Savini Jr. of Cobden, IL; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father John J. Savini Sr..
A celebration of life for Carolyn will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Barry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 also in the funeral home.
