Norma Winegardner, 90, of New Waverly, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, in Kokomo.
Born October 6, 1929 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Verna (Yeargean) Anders.
On February 14, 1948, in Logansport, Norma was married to Victor Winegardner, who preceded her in death February 18, 2003.
A homemaker, Norma loved her children; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They kept her young. Norma was a long time member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. She enjoyed pottery and ceramics.
She is survived by two son; Jeffrey (Norma) Winegardner, of Rochester and Daniel (Brenda) Winegardner, of Galveston; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Walter Lee and David Glen Winegardner; two brothers, Bill Anders, and her twin brother, Norman “Bud” Anders.
A Funeral service celebrating Norma’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Twelve Mile.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 9 in the funeral chapel where an Eastern Star service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s memory to the Royal Center Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
