Last year, Cass County had all kinds of local connections to the Indy 500.

The Logansport City Council held a public hearing on annexation last night and it was standing room only in the council chambers. Those who planned to speak were asked to sign in and about 15 people made public comments, while several others said their questions had already been addressed by others who spoke.

Residents of the Annexation Area have had some questions about whether the ‘Ag Exemption’ applied to them, and what the ‘Ag Exemption’ actually means. The ‘Ag Exemption’ means that annexation area residents will not pay property taxes to the City.
