boxellDonald M. Boxell, 86, of Logansport, passed away at 11:13 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born March 16, 1928, in Marion, he was the son of the late Max M. and Janice Wall Boxell.
On March 16, 1952, in Logansport, he married Norma Jo Chapman Boxell, who survives.

A 1946 graduate of Logansport High School, Donald went on to graduate from Indiana Business College in 1948.

Donald was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad where he had worked for fourteen years. He then worked for the Logansport Community School Corporation for many years.

He was a member of New Life Alliance Church.

Surviving with his wife are three sons, Keith Alan Boxell (wife Nancy), Robert Warren Boxell (wife Joan) and Richard Max Boxell, all of Logansport; two daughters, Joette Alayne Hutchcraft (husband Drew) of West Lafayette and Jennifer Kay Folkers (husband Lynn) of Murphy, TX; one brother, Robert E. Boxell (wife Alice) of Winchester; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Janice and Jeannine Boxell.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald M. Boxell will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 9th in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastors Scott Halterman and Anthony Cozzello officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service in the funeral chapel.
