John Claypool Webber

John Claypool Webber died at home at 2:00 p.m., on April 8, 2015. Aged 88 years, he was born at home in Harrison Township on August 31, 1926 to John Cooper Webber and Ruth Marguerite Hall Webber.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Catherine Sawyer Webber. He leaves three children, Mary Ruth Webber Miller (Donald) of Manistee, Michigan; Elizabeth Ann Webber Young (John) of Herndon, Kentucky; John Matthew Webber (Jean) of Lucerne, Indiana. He was proud of all 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Mr. Webber was a lifelong farmer who saw many innovations in his lifetime, from farming with teams of Belgian horses, to the use of modern computerized machinery. He was a generous man and an avid reader of history, science and economics. He played in the woods as a child and continued to admire trees all of his life. He called on the name of Christ many years ago and was a child of God. His new address is HEAVEN.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
