Mark Boehme, 61, of Logansport, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015, in his residence.
Born Nobember 23, 1953, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Fredrick Sr. and Edna Bernice (Towe) Boehme.
On May 27, 1978, in Logansport, he was married to Kathy (Benn) Boehme, who survives.
Mark had worked as a die caster for twenty years at SUS Diecast.
A loving husband, father and uncle, Mark had opened his home as a foster parent for over twenty-seven years.
Surviving with his wife are three children Jesse Joe Boehme, Peyton Allen and Cody Allen; four brothers Mike, Freddie (Joan), Brian and Kevin Boehme; two sisters, Kay Martin and Kathy Blackmond; his in-laws Bill Benn, Mike and Mary Ann Benn, Sam and Jean Strasser, Darryl and Angie Benn and Marsha and Tom Pursch; 24 nieces and nephews including two special children he loved as if they were his own, D’neil Hopper Moran and Seth Hopper; and twenty-nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law Linda Boehme and Kay Benn and two nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28th in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Ken Smith officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery chapel.
Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
