IDHS, ISP Statement on Monitoring of the Situation in France

Last Updated on November 14, 2015 by cassnetwork

At the direction of Governor Pence, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) and Indiana State Police (ISP) have been directed to work closely with federal and local officials. Governor Pence’s Homeland Security Advisor and the Indiana Fusion Center Director joined their counterparts from around the country to hear from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security intelligence officials about the attacks in Paris.

State officials are very closely monitoring the situation in France and will be taking necessary precautions for citizens. No threat information with regard to Indiana has been identified. Hoosiers are urged to be vigilant in the wake of these horrendous attacks.  IDHS and ISP remind people that “if they see something suspicious, say something” by calling 1-877-226-1026.  If danger is imminent, call 911.
