Downtown Christmas Open House
Thursday, Dec. 3
4-8 p.m.
Visit 15 participating merchants, help the less fortunate and enter for a chance to win great prizes during this annual event presented by Logan’s Landing.

Advent Service
Friday, Dec. 4
Noon
Cass County Fellowship of Clergy is sponsoring an Advent Service at noon Friday, Dec. 4 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 Spencer St. All are welcome.

Pioneer presents “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”
Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Follow that rabbit to a delightful, entertaining world of childhood fantasies.  The play gives a modern view to an old classic, where nonsense makes quite good sense!  Bring the whole family along to meet an ever changing Alice, a Dodo bird, Humpty Dumpty, three queens, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, a caterpillar, and many more! $7 adults, $5 students
Visit with Santa
Santa will be at the Logansport Mall & at Mike Anderson Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in downtown Logansport this month, and he’ll also be making appearances at other holiday events. Check casscountycalendar.com for all the details!

Santa’s Workshop at The Salvation Army
Saturday, Dec. 5
Pictures with Santa and a pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m., plus a craft sale from 8 a.m to noon. Games and crafts for kids, too! $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and children 2 and under are free!

A Charlie Brown Christmas Peanuts Party
Saturday, Dec. 5
9 a.m. to noon

Christmas Open House at the Cass County Humane Society
Saturday, Dec. 5
9 a.m. to noon
Come in and see our Shelter and bring a donation to put under the tree for our animals. We will be taking pictures of you and your animal by the tree or you can borrow one of ours. The pictures will be placed on our Facebook page. Light refreshments will be served. Help us get all of our animals home for the holidays!

Free Community Christmas Movie
Saturday, Dec. 5
Mary Max Cinemas Logansport 5 will kick-off the holiday season with a free showing of The Polar Express (G) on Saturday, December 5 at 10:00am. This special presentation is generously sponsored by Beacon Credit Union. The doors open at 9:00am with Santa and Mrs. Claus handing out treats and visiting with children in the lobby before the show. Arriving early is strongly suggested with seating limited to the first 500 guests. While the movie is free for everyone, the theater is recommending a donation of one canned or dry food item per person to benefit the Emmaus Mission Food Pantry.

The Festival of Nativities
Saturday, December 5
3:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Everyone is invited FREE of charge to The Festival of Nativities at Faith Lutheran Church, featuring a wonderful display of nativity scenes. The youth offer a raffle and cookie bake sale to raise money for The Emmaus Mission Center in Logansport. They are also collecting non-perishable food and paper supplies for Emmaus.There will be activities for children and adults. Light refreshments will be available. Hosted by FLY4Christ youth group. The church is located about six miles south of Logansport on IN 29 to 800 N, then west 1/4 mile, in Carroll County.

Carousel Winter-Fest
Sunday, Dec. 6
1-4 p.m.
Free carousel rides and refreshments provided by Pacesetters Real Estate & Cass County Tree Service. Read stories with Reading Railroad, write letters to Santa and enjoy a bonfire and roast marshmallows with the Logansport Fire Department & Logansport Parks Department.
Santa will arrive at 2:00 pm. Pictures will be $3.00 or bring your own cameras.

Performing Arts Council presents “The Toy Shoppe with Alan Thicke
Sunday, Dec. 6
7 p.m.
“The Toy Shoppe” is a musical written by Kenny Rogers and Kelly Junkermann. This years tour stars Alan Thicke, the former star of the hit series Growing Pains, who began an early career on Broadway. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students.
