2016 Miss Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant set for January 8-10, 2016

The 2016 Miss Indiana State Fair queen will be crowned Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The contestants are those selected at each county fair’s queen pageants the previous summer. The new Queen will reign for the next twelve months, promoting the Indiana State Fair the following summer throughout the state prior to the 17-day fair in August.

During the three-day event January 8-10 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, each contestant participates in three preliminary judging categories – Interview, Professional Wear and Formal Wear.

Preliminary judging of professional and formal wear will be held in the 4-H Exhibit Hall Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.  on Saturday, January 9, 2016 and is open to the public. Limited seating is available and tickets are $10 each regardless of age.

The finals will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 10 in the Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum. Tickets are $10 each for ages 6 and up.
