Dudley Dean “Fuzzy” Frye

fryeDudley Dean “Fuzzy” Frye, 81, of Burnettsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Winamac.

Born February 4, 1934, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Alexander and Isabelle Shaffer Frye.

On October 24, 1952 in the Burnettsville Baptist Church, he was married to Virginia Ann (Lind) Frye who preceded him in death on May 19, 2015.

Dudley was engaged in farming all of his life. He was also retired from Pasquale’s Trucking after driving for over 28 years.

He was a member of the Logansport First Church of the Nazarene. Dudley enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are two sons, Clifford (Jeoan) Frye of Burnettsville and Carl (Jill) Frye of Francesville; four daughters, Clara (Danny) Vitello of Logansport, Marietta Frye of Thornhope, Marlene (Glen) Ward of Thornhope and Melissa (Michael) Weaver of Star City; two brothers, Arthur Marion (Jean) Frye and Donald Frye, all of Logansport; one sister, Betty (Bob) Ostler, of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Lexcy Frye, Abby (Bryon) Fife, Aaron Frye, Brian (Alyson) Frye, Ann (Adam) Baer, Sarah Goodrich, Dakota Tiede, Marissa (Bob) Tetzloff and Korin (David) Rogers; and three gread-grandchildren, Seanna Redman, Ava Fife and Aiden and Lucy.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter Rhonda Redman; one brother, Roger Frye; and four sisters, Charrolette, Maxine, Norma and June.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2015 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Dudley Frye will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel. Pastor Jeff Allen will officiate.

Burial will follow in Seceder Cemetery, near Burnettsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monticello CDC,the Cass County Humane Society or Pulaski Animal Control.
