Janice E. Adair, age 83, Logansport, passed away at 6:00 a.m., on Monday, January 11, 2016, in Lafayette.
Born December 2, 1932, in Larwill, Ind., she was the daughter of John and Eva Mohn Metzger.
On February 26, 1956, she was married to Kay W. Adair, who preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.
A 1950 graduate of Wolf Lake (IN) High School, Janice was an avid card player, especially euchre. She was a member of the Lockport Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Adair, Lafayette; sons, Kim Adair (Denise Conley), Winamac and Kirby (Jeannie) Adair, Logansport; brothers, Jack (Mary) Metzger, Wolf Lake, Randy (Gail) Metzger, North Manchester; sisters, Sandy Denton, Ligonier and Marilee (Don) Kreider, Columbia City.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Ashley (Erik) Loucks, Portland, IN, Michael (Andrea) Adair, Royal Center, Matthew Adair, Portland, IN and Shane (Alayna) Adair, Denver, CO; great grandson, Rogan Adair; several
nieces and nephews.
A granddaughter, Brittany Leeann Adair, and sister, Nancy Lee Metzger, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Nord Zootman officiating.
