moss Tammy Moss, 53, Logansport, passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016, in her home following an extended battle with cancer.

Born July 11, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Patricia (Hancock) Long Craig and the late Robert Long. Her mother survives in Dillsboro, Indiana.

She was married to Samuel Moss IV, who survives.

Tammy was employed as the activities director at Miller’s Merry Manor where she was adored by the residents.

Surviving with her husband of sixteen years and her mother are one son, Samuel Moss V, a student at Indiana University – Kokomo; a daughter Aubrey Lynne Kennell of Lucerne; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Shirley and Samuel Moss III; three brothers: Bobby Long, Timothy Long and Patrick Long; one sister, Kim Block; one step-brother Jim Craig; and two grandchildren, Addison and Elizabeth Kennell.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Jim Craig; one brother Greg Long and one sister Pamela Long.

A memorial service celebrating Tammy’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 4th in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiating.
