Lois Jean Frye, 65, of Logansport passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
Born on September 7, 1950 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Beverly B. (Fultz) Best. Jeanie retired from A. Raymond Tinnerman.
Jeanie loved to travel, read, and collect snowmen. She cherished the time she spent with friends and family, especially her grandsons.
Surviving along with her companion William S. Mitchell of Muncie is one daugher, Kimberly (Albert) Busard; son, Gary Ross Jr.; two grandsons, John Ethan Spencer; Rodney Jordan Busard; sister, Ruth Ann (Louis) Stepp, all of Logansport; two brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Best, Middleburg, FL; George (Cheryl) Best, Wappingers Falls, NY.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary W. Best.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiating. Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, also in the Funeral Home.
