Richard D. “Dick” Wagoner

WagonerRichard “Dick” D. Wagoner, 75, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on July 25, 1940 in Fulton, IN, he was the son of the late Leonard B. and Mary Margaret (Bodle) Wagoner.  On December 21, 1986 in the Metea Baptist Church, Dick married Monte R. Hodge who survives.

Dick was a dairy farmer. He was a lifetime member of Metea Baptist Church. Dick enjoyed bowling and was an avid Purdue Boilermaker fan.

Surviving along with his wife Monte, are two daughters, Lisa K. (Howard) Wright, Logansport; Lori A. (Gary) Melton, Indianapolis; son, Scott R.(Melissa) Wagoner, Logansport; step daughter, Elizabeth Raub, Logansport; step son, Brian Raub, Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; four step grandchildren; sister, Ruth A. Erdmann, Monticello; two brothers, Robert B. (Marty) Wagoner, Broken Arrow, OK; William R. (Tina) Wagoner, Bunker Hill, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother in law, Harold Erdmann.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor….    Burial will follow in the Metea Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, also in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Metea Baptist Church.
