Hulman Terrace Club to hold open house for fans on May 18

Last Updated on May 11, 2016 by cassnetwork

INDIANAPOLIS  — Want to enjoy club-level seating for a day? On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, the Hulman Terrace Club, the newest club space at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will be open to the public. Anyone inside IMS that day is encouraged to stop by and enjoy the new amenities.

Premium food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase inside the club, where guests can enjoy one of the best views of the historic oval. Guests wishing to join should use the south three Hulman Suite Elevators. No pit and garage credentials will be distributed. Coolers are not permitted.

The Hulman Terrace Club, new for 2016 as part of the Project 100 renovations at IMS, is located on the outside of the front straightaway of the famed 2.5-mile oval past the exit of Turn 4. It features more than 1,000 seats plus ADA-accessible seating for fans seeking a club option similar to what is offered at many other major U.S. stadiums. There are great views from the 22-inch stadium seats and from an outside deck area surrounding a large indoor pavilion.

“We haven’t had a completely new seating option at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in many years, so to debut the Hulman Terrace Club in time for our epic race season including the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 is terrific for our fans,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “I encourage everyone to come out on May 18 and enjoy Verizon IndyCar Series practice from a new perspective!”

The Hulman Terrace Club, open on race days throughout the IMS season, is sold out for 2016. Benefits for ticketholders this year include pit and garage credentials every day except Indianapolis 500 Race Day, an event car ride around the oval, a B2B event, Brickyard Crossing Golf Course and retail discounts and an option to purchase seat nameplates.
