Need help with those high cooling bills? Relief is on the way! Help is available for eligible individuals and families only while funding lasts. A family of four is eligible if they make under $3,038 a month and have not already received the summer benefit. New applicants and denied households can apply once between July 1, 2016 and August 12, 2016, as long as funding is available. Call Area Five at (800) 654-9421 for more information on cutting those high cooling bills or applying for energy help.
Limited air conditioners will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis until gone. Individuals must have their physician complete an Air Conditioner Affidavit, available at Area Five Agency, and be approved for EAP to be considered for this opportunity.
Energy saving kids are available for approved households only.
