A 54-year-old man was killed this morning in a crash on US 25 N near Logansport.
According to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Larry R. Tinsley, Jr. of Bristol, Ind. was northbound on SR 25, just south of Cass County Road 300 N when his motorcycle struck a deer. Authorities say he had been staying in the Logansport area and was on his way to work when the crash occurred.
Tinsley was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The crash is still under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. Sergeant Pat Zeider and Deputy John O’Connor were assisted at the scene by District 1 Fire, Prompt Ambulance Service, Indiana State Police and Sheriff Randy Pryor.
