Rain or shine, the River Bluff Trail, 800 Michigan Avenue, Logansport, will be the starting point of the River Bluff Run and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 8. This annual event, sponsored by the Logansport Memorial Hospital Foundation, promotes Breast Cancer Awareness.
Entry fees are $30 race day. Twelve and under participate free, but only receive a shirt with paid registration. All revenue from this year’s event is used to provide free screening mammograms to uninsured/underinsured women.
Race Day Schedule:
7:30 am – 8:30 am: Run Registration
8:30 am – 9:30 am: Fun Walk Registration
9:00 am: 5K Run Begins
9:30 am: Runner Awards
9:45 am: Observance of Breast Cancer Survivors
10:00 am: Fun Walk Begins
The run/walk features event category awards and free T-shirts for those who pre-register. Race day registrants will receive free T-shirts while supplies last. At 9:45 am, there will be a special observance for breast cancer survivors. Teams of runners and walkers are encouraged to participate in this year’s event.
