bettyhillBetty E. Hill, 76, of Logansport, passed away at 5 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born December 25, 1939, in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Edith Faye (Tomlinson) Gunter.

On July 30, 1992, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was married to Robert Hill. He preceded her in death November 19, 2005.

Betty was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. Her Bible meant everything to her.

She is survived by four daughters: Pauline (Steve)Thompson of Logansport, Brenda (Steve) Arnold of Corydon, Helen (Frank) Cogswell of Logansport, and Hope (Greg) Brown, of Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, Gilbert “Allen” (Julie) Truax of Logansport, Leroy “Lee” (Janet)Truax of Whitestown and Christopher Truax of Logansport; four sisters, Patty Howard and Esther Justice, both of Logansport, Thelma Davis of Plymouth and Pearl Grube of Kewanna; one brother Gerald (Shirley) Gunter of Hebron; four step-sons, four step-daughters; her grandchildren: Samantha Fox, Jessica (Shelton) Pickens, Cody Truax, David (Autumn) Arnold, Rob (Tamera) Arnold, Justin Cogswell, Katlyn Cogswell, Laci Roland Brown, Paxton Brown, Lindsey Cogswell, Shantel Truax, Christopher Truax, Gregg Brown, Ian Brown, and Zachary Brown; and eight great-grandchildren: Ethan Arnold, Kiana Arnold, Kierra Rose Arnold, Jackson Pickens, Ezekiel Cogswell, Presley Fox, Memphis Fox and Malik Leelyn Arnold.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Betty Hill will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Patricia Barnes officiating.

Burial, at a later date, will be in the Cline-Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 in the funeral chapel.
