Logansport HCI team launches survey
Committee members have analyzed a data snapshot for Logansport and Cass County and reviewed existing community plans. On Nov. 29, they’ll work on identifying the community’s existing assets.
Now, those who live and work in Logansport are being asked for their input through a survey that addresses Logansport’s quality of life, economy and leadership opportunities.
The survey can be taken online at the following links:
Printed hard copies of the survey will also be available at the Mayor’s Office, Cass County Community Foundation and Intersection Coffee Shop.
The team’s goal is to hear from at least 2,000 people who live or work in Logansport by the close of the survey on Dec. 30.
“The team wants to reach out and really get a pulse for how community members want to better our community,” says Purdue University’s Tamara Ogle, who is a coach for Logansport’s HCI team. “Ultimately, the goal is to infuse a different way of working together in the community.”
The HCI team is chaired by Michelle Dials and Zach Szmara and includes about two dozen representatives from Logansport schools, business and industry, government, churches and the non-profit sector.
“We’re in this together because we want the best possible Logansport,” Szmara says.
