Vice President-elect Governor Mike Pence directs flags be flown at half-staff statewide

Indianapolis – In accordance with a presidential proclamation issued this afternoon, Vice President-elect Governor Mike Pence is directing flags at state facilities statewide be lowered to half-staff to honor the memory of former astronaut and statesman John Glenn. Flags should be lowered immediately until sunset on the day of interment.

Vice President-elect Governor Mike Pence also asks businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff to honor John Glenn.
