Annual Girl Scout cookie sale starts January 13

Have you been waiting patiently all year for your favorite Girl Scout cookies to go on sale? Well, the wait is almost over! The annual cookie sale in the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana council begins on Friday, January 13.

This year customers will have eight delicious varieties to choose from, including the new “S’mores” cookie. Also available are Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread, Caramel deLites, Lemonades and Thanks-A-Lot.

In addition to being a sweet treat (that freezes well), every box helps provide amazing experiences for the girls who sell them. The sale gives girls the opportunity to learn essential life skills, build confidence and discover the leader within.

There are four easy ways to buy cookies: (1) contact any Girl Scout; (2) stop by a cookie booth (locations are posted each Friday on the GSNI-M Facebook page); (3) visit www.gsnim.org to “order a troop” to sell cookies at your business; or (4) email iwantcookies@gsnim.org. Cost per box in the GSNI-M council is $4. The sale continues through March 15.
