Miss Indiana State Fair 2017 will be crowned Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The contestants are selected at each county fair’s queen pageants the previous summer. The new Queen will reign for the next twelve months, promoting the Indiana State Fair the following summer throughout the state prior to the 17-day fair in August.

Public preliminary judging will be held at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 7.

All contestants will compete in the prepared speech, professional wear and formal wear categories.

Public pageant finals will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Pageant finals will include introductions by all contestants in their formal wear competition attire. The Top 16 semi-finalists will be announced and will be judged a second time in prepared speech and professional wear. The Top 10 will then be announced and will compete in formal wear and answer an impromptu on-stage question.

Miss Congeniality, the Queen’s Court (four runners-up) and Miss Indiana State Fair 2017 will be announced at the conclusion of the pageant finals.

Both events are open to the public. Tickets to each day’s event are $10 per person and are available online at ticketmaster.com, at any Ticketmaster outlet or in person at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Box Office in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum lobby.

Parking at the Indiana State Fairgrounds is $5 per vehicle.
