Janet L. Bechdol, 67, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly, January 18, 2017, at Memorial Hospital.
Born November 26, 1949, in Minneapolis, MN, Janet was the daughter of the late Clinton and Lorene (Nave) Woods.
On June 19, 1971, she was married to James Bechdol, who survives.
Janet worked as a city carrier for the Pharos Tribune.
A member of Bridge Community Church. Janet enjoyed visiting and assisting senior citizens within her community. She also loved collecting angels.
Surviving with her husband of 45 years are two sons: Matthew (Heather) Bechdol and Stephen Bechdol, both of Indianapolis; two brothers, David (Kathy) Woods, of Noblesville and Larry (Judy) Woods, of Appleton, WI; and two grandchildren, Jenna and Clinton Bechdol.
She was preceded in death by her daughters Rebecca and Naomi Bechdol.
A funeral service celebrating Janet’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 21 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Zack Szmara officiating.
Visitation hours will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday in the funeral chapel.
Burial, at a later date, will be in Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
