Mary Louise Crow

Mary Louise Crow, 89 of Monticello, formerly of Royal Center passed away at 2:12 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Monticello Healthcare Center.

Born on January 16, 1927 in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida (White) Hicks.
She was a Royal Center High School graduate.

On March 20, 1949, she married Eugene W. Crow. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Crow and daughter, Nancy Crow.

Mary retired from Farm Bureau Co-Op in Royal Center and she was a farm wife and homemaker.

Mary was a wonderful person and exceptional mom and grandmother.  She always had a smile and her fondness of baking earned her the nickname the “cookie lady”.  Her homemade candies were also enjoyed by friends and family.

Survivors include her sons, Fred Crow (Patti) of Lebanon and Robert Crow (Fran) of Iowa, grandchildren, Jason Griffin (Nicole) of Indianapolis, Nick Crow of California, Hannah Crow (Britt Rossman) of Bloomington, Kelly Merriman (Randy) of Tennessee, Susie Allen (Andy) of Tennessee, Angie Overfield (Matt) of Tennessee, Scott Crow (Richard Lieto) of Florida, Matthew Wingett of Tennessee, Robbie Crow (Tori) of Kansas and great grandchildren, Connor Griffin of Indianapolis, Gavin Duncan of Fort Campbell, Gabe Duncan in Afghanistan, Genna Duncan, Michael, Matt and Mattie Overfield of Tennessee, Abby Merriman of Colorado, Meredith Allen of Tennessee and Becca and Madison Crow of Kansas.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2017 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.

Burial will be at the Royal Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
