Robert Edward McDonald

Robert Edward McDonald, 67 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Huntington County, IN.

Born on January 14, 1950, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Charles and Rowena (Norton) McDonald.  On May 14, 1993 in Logansport, he married Madonna Louise McDaniel who survives.

was a truck driver for G&D Integrated Transportation of Monticello.  He enjoyed camping, horse shows, and was a member of the Saddle Club.  Robert was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving along with his wife Madonna are two sons, Jeremy McDonald, Greensburg, IN; Derick (Sherry) McDonald, Shelbyville, IN; daughter, Amy McDonald, Logansport; step son, Eddie Lee Enyeart, Macy, IN; step daughter, Tammy (Brady) Young, Logansport; four brothers, Sonny McDonald, Monticello; Jack McDonald, Alabama; Larry McDonald; Bill McDonald, both of Florida; five sisters, Betty Simpson; Louise Fording, both of Logansport; Debbie; Della; and Donna; several grandchildren, six step grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold; and a sister, Barbara.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Horace Smith officiating.  Burial, at a later date, will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
