Vivian D. Shaver

Vivian D.  Shaver, 79, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Kokomo, IN.

Born on April 7, 1937 in Lafayette, IN, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Wanda (VanMeter) Felz.  On September 23, 1956 in Logansport, she married Donald E. Shaver who survives.
Vivian was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Women’s Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post #3790.

Surviving along with her husband Don are four sons, Patrick Shaver and Lisa Bowyer-Short, Logansport; David Lee (Teresa) Shaver, Monticello, IN; Michael (Vanessa) Shaver, Logansport; James (Tracy) Shaver, Chicago, IL; three brothers, Amos Lee Burdine, Idaho; Earl (Delta) Burdine, Clark Hills, IN; Ron (Barb) Brose, Lafayette; two sisters, Betty Jo Koetters, Idaho; Marlene Burdine, California; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Shaver; and a great grandson, Michael Vore.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Don Cline Officiating. A private burial will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services on Sunday.
