Logansport Police obtained warrants this week for four individuals allegedly involved in the Jan. 31 armed robbery of the Speedway gas station at 2875 E. Market St. in Logansport.
In a news release issued today, the Logansport Police Department says Markwon M. Collier, 18, of Logansport, is in custody in Chicago and will be extradited back to Cass County. Two additional juveniles are also in custody in Chicago and will be extradited. LPD says they are actively attempting to locate a third juvenile from Pennsylvania.
“The Logansport Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in solving this case,” the news release states. “We received numerous tips with positive information that helped us in our investigation. The department would also like to thank the Chicago Police Department and other Chicago agencies that assisted in the investigation. Lt. Ray Bean with the Logansport Police Department was the lead investigator assigned to this case. Lt. Bean spent numerous hours and did an excellent job in solving this case.”
