CCCF awards $3,000 grant to support Pioneer Robotics team competing at World Championships

The Cass County Community Foundation is pleased to announce a community grant in the amount of $3,000 to support the Pioneer High School Robotics team who recently qualified to compete at the world championships at the VEX IQ World Robotics Championship held in Louisville, KY on April 23-25.

The Pioneer teams will join two other local teams. RoboComets2 and MegaComets from Caston Elementary who also qualified and received a grant from CCCF. Participants will be competing with teams from the United States, China, Australia, Japan and Spain.

Deanna Crispen, CCCF president shared, “The CCCF Board of Directors is committed to supporting projects that allow our students opportunities beyond the classroom for learning and enrichment. The students in the robotics programs provide a great example of business and education leaders working together and are a source of pride for our entire community.”
