Franklin NorrisFranklin D. Norris, 34, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in his home.

Born August 30, 1982, in Pampa, Texas, he was the son of Donald Howard and Ella Harris Norris.

Frank was a member of the Revolution Community Church. He was a singer in two bands, “Facelift” and “A Failed Escape.” A movie buff, Frank also had an entertaining collection of “The Simpson’s” memorabilia. He also enjoyed WWE.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ella and Rick Morris, of Delphi; his fiancée Aly Gaddis, of Logansport; one son, Donnavyn DeFord Norris, of Logansport; one brother Joshua (Angel) Hopper, of Logansport; three half-sisters, Jenny (Steve) Ryder, Krissy (Bill) Schaffer and Mindy Stednitz, all of Logansport; five aunts and one uncle, Margaret (Glenn) Wilson, of London, KY, Joann (John) Houk, of Hamilton, OH, Harold Landrum, Kathy Norris, and Becky (Jim) Hunnicutt, all of Logansport, and Pam (Jim) Drake, of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews and nieces, Codi, Elijah and Josiah Hopper, Patrick Burke, Amber Schaffer, Cordell Marks, Brittany and Tiffany Liberto and Ashton Stednitz; several cousins, including a special cousin who was like a sister, Amanda Joann Wilson of Lexington, KY; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Norris; his maternal grandparents, Eva and Eller Harris; and his paternal grandparents, Dixie and Frank Norris.

A funeral service celebrating Frank’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 5 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 4 in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Donnavyn Norris Education Fund in care of Fisher Funeral Chapel.
