Cass County Visitor’s Bureau announces new addition to “Discover Cass County” app

Last Updated on July 18, 2017 by cassnetwork

The Cass County Visitor’s Bureau announces the launch of the “Pop-Up Art & History Trail” in downtown Logansport.

Funded through a Quick-Impact Placebased Grant from the Indiana Office of Tourism Development and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the project encourages residents and visitors to learn more about the community’s history and local attractions, with an emphasis on art and architecture.

Look for temporary signage to “pop-up” at various locations in downtown Logansport throughout the summer.  When you see a sign, either scan the QR code or open the Cass County Visitor’s Bureau’s “Discover Cass County” app and look for the Pop-Up Art & History Trail to learn more about that location. Visitors can either listen to a short podcast or read about the featured locations.

The Cass County Visitor’s Bureau’s app is available for free on Google Play or the App Store – just search for “Discover Cass County.” If you don’t have a QR code reader, you can also download one from Google Play or the App Store.

The Pop Up Art and History Trail is presented by the Cass County Visitors Bureau in partnership with Logan’s Landing, the Cass County Historical Society, the City of Logansport and Cass County Communication Network (published by Existential Media LLC).

Four locations are featured in the first phase of the project. Look for more to “pop-up” in downtown Logansport throughout the summer.

CCVB director Toni Savini says the Pop-Up Art & History Trail could be expanded to other areas of Cass County after the initial project is completed.
