Dustin R. Walker

Dustin R. Walker, age 30, Logansport, passed away at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, July 24, 2017.

He was born to Todd and Rhonda Little Walker in Logansport, on February 28, 1987.

On February 27, 2007, in Wichita Falls Texas, he was married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer N. Murray, who survives in Logansport. Married for 10 years, they started their life together in Dover, Delaware.

Dustin had been a machine operator at Small Parts, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He attended Revolution Community Church, and was involved in the men’s group.

He enjoyed DIY work, landscape building, and designing anything for family and friends. He was a Chicago Bears fan, an avid outdoorsman, including water sports, and he enjoyed off-roading, and cranking his music.

A very charismatic person, Dustin never met a stranger. He was a proud father who was adored by his children.

Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Rhonda and Mark Murray, Logansport; his father, Todd Walker, Logansport; children, Isaiah Robert, Isabella Jayne, and Hattie Lou; father-in-law, Mike (Meg) Murray; mother-in-law, Tammy (Gary) Puzzella, all of Logansport; brother, Chris (Falen) Murray, Logansport, sister, Kayla (Ryan) Luckey, Galveston; brother-in-law, Christopher, Murray, Logansport; grandparents, Marsha (Dick) Hood and Nancy Murray, all of Logansport, and Sherry Little, Walton; uncles, Jason Smith, Florida, Rodney Little, Kokomo, Jamie (Tara) Smith, Mulberry, Bill (Carrie) Smith, Logansport, Doug (Kim) Walker, Shane (Terri) Walker, Derek (Brath) Walker, all of Logansport, and Chris Walker, Peru; aunt, Teresa Walker, Logansport; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, James Murray and Paul Little; grandmother, Patty Walker; great grandparents, Harold and Goldie Little and Lawrence and Loretta Frick; uncle, Bart Walker, and cousin, Brandon Walker.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The service will be on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Pastor Dean Snyder and Pastor Jeff Moss officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, with the Cass County Honor Guard and uniformed members of the United States Air Force providing military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walker Children Care Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
